Ernest Estrada

Ernest Estrada, 72, of Graham went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2017. He was born in San Antonio, TX. Ernest was married for 42 years to Shirley Pullen Estrada who died on June 14, 2016. He was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church. He loved traveling, coin collecting, working in his yard and heading up Veterans Day activities at his church. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant after serving for over 22 years and two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicki (Larry) Simpson; sons, Jeff (Kimberly) Estrada and James Estrada; granddaughters, Amanda Napier and Courtney Simpson; great grandchildren, Blake Napier, Maddox Napier and Jonathan Hoppe; sister-in-law, Elaine (Tom) Smith and his extended Texas family.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Riverdale Baptist Church by Rev. Jonathan Graves. Interment with full military honors will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
