Eric Doby

Burlington - Eric Drew Doby, 48, of 2823 Charley Lane, went home to Lord, Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, Mr. Doby was born August 10, 1958, to the late Richard E. Doby and Elma Mae Bishop Doby who survives. He worked for Goldtoe in Mebane and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Doby is survived by his wife of 18 years, Connie May Doby; a son, Charlie Thomas Doby of the home; daughters, Belinda Megan Doby of the home, and Katie Marie Doby of Burlington; brothers, Richard C. Doby and Carl J. Doby both of Burlington; a sister, Dianne D. Wood of Burlington. The funeral will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. John Skeenes and Rev. Jerry Flood. Interment will follow at Vickers Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the home.
