Emogene Wikle

Emogene Wikle, 88, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Edgewood Place.  She was born in Burke County, Georgia to the late George Dewey and Mary Glisson Mallard and was the wife of James Robertson Wikle, Jr.

She was an active member at Faith United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening as well as spending time with her family.

Emogene was survived by her husband, James Wikle; son, John Wikle; daughter, Mary Ann Wikle; sister, Louise Carlson as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a younger brother, Rogers Mallard.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lee Edwards, with a private burial to follow. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
