Emmogene Hutcherson

Graham- Emmogene Parker Hutcherson, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Alamance County on December 30, 1931 to the late Grover Cleveland and Estelle Irene Allen Parker and was the wife of 64 years to the late Glenn Mayfield Hutcherson.
Emmogene was a lifelong member of Harvest Hills Church of God where she sang in the choir and was a greeter. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Chris Willis, Evelyn and James "Buck" George; sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Pat Hutcherson, Jr., Gary Hutcherson, David "Hutch" and Penny Hutcherson; 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Billy Bradshaw and Patricia and Wayne Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, Bobby Parker and a sister, Carolyn Daniels.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00pm on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Harvest Hills Church by Dr. Russell Morris with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at her daughter Theresa's home at 1814 Fairview St. in Burlington.
