Emil Fausel

Burlington Emil Thomas "E.T." Fausel, 82, of Burlington passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Durham. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Emil Charles and Edna Williams Fausel. He was married for over 60 years to Virginia Loy Fausel who survives. He was a former employee of American Tobacco and retired from Harris Teeter Trucking. E.T. was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the American Legion and was a volunteer driver who provided transportation to V.A. Hospital. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served his country in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of the home; daughter, Maria Danny Scott of Burlington; son, Wilson "Beaver" Becky Fausel of Cary; grandchildren, Jordan, Brooke and Makayla Scott and Heath Fausel; and a sister, Marion Anderson of Burlington. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church by Rev. Nathan Hooks. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence.
