Emery Rudd

Burlington-Emery Brianne Rudd, age 2 went home to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at UNC Hospital. She was the daughter of Brian Allen Rudd and Cynthia Chandler Rudd. Emery attended Bethel Christian Church with her family and was active in the Children's Story program at Gunn Memorial Library in Yanceyville. She enjoyed swimming at Pine Ridge Pool and everyone knew her for her pretty smile and bouncing curls. Her family will be forever touched by her life and love. Survivors include her parents of the home; sisters, Sofia Noelle Rudd and Ivey "Cheyenne" Pulliam both of the home; brother, Dawson Ray Rudd of the home; paternal grandparents, Harvey and Sandra Rudd of Burlington; maternal grandparents, Drew and Denise Chandler of Blanch; paternal great grandparents, Herbert and Dot Rudd of Prospect Hill and maternal great grandparents, Hildred and Doris Newcomb of Blanch; aunts and uncles, Shawn and Jana Rudd, Teresa Rudd, Casey and Allison Chandler, Corey and Jenna Chandler, Barry and Jo Anne Honeycutt. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 2:00pm at Bethel Christian Church by Rev. Barry Lane and Rev. Mark Cobb. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of Harvey and Sandra Rudd.
