Elsie Stanley

Richmond, VA Elsie Preston Stanley, 93, formerly of Burlington, passed away on February 13, 2015 at The Hermitage in Richmond, VA. She was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Preston and was the wife of 55 years to the late Harry L. Stanley. She was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church for over 50 years. Elsie is survived by her son, Harry P. Stanley and his wife Susan of Richmond, VA; two granddaughters, Sarah Buss and her husband David and Elizabeth Muse and her fianc Eric Stowers; two great grandchildren, Hartley and Miller Buss and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister, Jewell Greeson. A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00am on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum by Dr. Eugene Hunsinger. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service in the Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the staff of The Hermitage in Richmond, VA for their loving support and care during Elsie's stay.
