Eloise “Lois” Frazier Leonard, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of 70 years to William “Bill” Franklin Leonard who survives.
Lois worked at the Daycare of Eastlawn Baptist Church for many years. She was a member of Eastlawn Baptist Church, where she served as a choir member and a Sunday School helper. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels of Alamance County. Lois enjoyed her flowers and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Leonard of the home; daughters, Dee McFarling and Janice Coates and husband, Skeeter; sons, Mike Leonard and wife, Karen, Steve Leonard and wife, Ellen, Doug Leonard and Tony Leonard; grandchildren, Joseph Krick, Kelly (Kevin) O’Keeffee, Morgan Leonard, Taylor Leonard, Travis Leonard, Michelle (Ernie) King, Matthew (Crystal) McFarling, Aleisha (John) Edwards, Shane Leonard, Tiffany (Forrest) Burnette, Joshua Leonard, Justin Leonard, Tonya (Mark) Taylor, Shannon (Suann) Coates, Nicholas Leonard and Christopher Leonard; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Geneva Nichols, Mary Lawson and husband, Junior and Judy Lineberry; brothers, Haswell Frazier, Gaylen Frazier and wife, Patricia and Wade Frazier and wife, Paula.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Early Leftwich and Dorcas Viola Linville Frazier; great grandchildren, Brynna Grace King and Micah Edwards; sisters, Charlotte Jones and Janet Moore.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2:00pm at Eastlawn Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Joyner and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45pm prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.
