Elizabeth "Nana" Key

Elizabeth “Nana” Ann Ray Key, 72, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on February 1, 1948 in Ashe County to the late Ellison Augusta Ray and Nara Eugenia Graham Ray.

Elizabeth was known as “Nana” to everyone that knew her.  She worked for Burger King for 19 years and formerly worked for McDonalds and Biscuitville.  Nana enjoyed working around people and was a member of Baptist Temple.

Nana is survived by her daughter, Dawn Key Euliss and husband, Dennis; granddaughter, Jessica Euliss Overman and husband, Kevin; a brother, Ellison “Gene” Eugene Ray and wife, Haecha; and a sister, Louise Barbery.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Jeremy Eugene Key, Jerry Timothy Key and Wayne Sullivan Key.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice Home, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.  The family will have a celebration service at a later date.
