Elizabeth "Libbi" Henderson

Elizabeth “Libbi” Bruce Henderson, 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Peak Resources surrounded by her family and friends.  She was born on April 11, 1952 in Guilford County to the late Charles Franklin Bruce and Annice Mae Taylor Bruce and was married to the late Fredrick “Freddy” Bruce Henderson of 46 years who died in July 2019.

Libbi retired from Guilford County Department of Social Services.  She loved QVC, children, going on beach trips, she enjoyed playing computer games and was an animal lover.

She is survived by her cousin, Carolyn Jenkins and husband, Billy; aunt, Bertie Hart and family friends, Brantley “Bud” Taylor, David and Angie Reaves, Glenn and Donna Loye, Tiffany Loye and Tammy Nelson.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

The celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Craig Peak with the burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 1:45pm Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
