Elizabeth Ann Harrison Woolard, 71, Beloved wife and mother lost her two year battle with cancer on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015. She fought her battle with dignity and grace and through it all with her same sweet humble spirit. She loved her family with all her heart and would lay down her life for her children. Her family lost their beautiful angel but heaven has gained one. She will never be forgotten by any who knew her. She was the owner and operator of the Golden Comb in Haw River and was a former employee with Lab Corp. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ruby Mae Scott, her father, Archie Bell Harrison, her only brother, Buford Harrison and a beloved niece, Tracy Branch. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Cecil Earl Woolard, her devoted children, Rhonda Justice Ray, Sandra Masho Ken, Danny Neel Teresa, Randy Neel Laura, Melissa Gentry Andrew, Marcus Woolard Laura, Cecil Woolard, Jr. Sheila, Bridget Lanier Rod, Sandy Woolard Jamie, Cristy Barnes Jeff; two wonderful sisters, Betty Branch Joe and Faye Owens; many adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Paul Miles with burial to follow at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Monday at the funeral home and other times at the home. The family would especially like to thank all the hospice nurses for their exceptional kindness and care provided to Elizabeth and everyone who visited her to show their concern and love.
