Elizabeth Lapan

Burlington Elizabeth Paschal Lapan, 84, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at Moses Cone Hospital. She was born June 9, 1931 in Rockingham County to the late Larxley Lawson and Helen Jones Paschal and was married to Raymond Denis Lapan who survives. Elizabeth was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was a beautician at Town and Country Beauty Shop until her retirement. Survivors other than her husband, Raymond, include her sons, Joseph R. and Laura Lapan of Browns Summit, Denis Lee and Diane LaPan of Chapel Hill; a daughter Kimberly and Ronald Hutchens of McLeansville; four grandchildren; sisters, Frances Lowe and Bobbie (Paul) Brim. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers. The funeral will be held 1:00pm Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Briant Cullinane, O.F.M. Conv. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 10:45am to 12:45pm prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and other times at the home.
