Elizabeth Kent

Elizabeth Lorraine Jones Kent, 81, of Von Bora Ct. passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center. She was married to Melvin "Mel" Kent for sixty-one years and was born September 16, 1927 in Washington, DC to the late George E. and Lela Maude Cook Jones. Survivors include her husband of the home, a daughter Sandra Mark Mackie of Flower Mound, TX, sons, Stephen Christina Kent of Raleigh, Timothy Kent of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren, Rebecca Brian Dallas, Megan Kent, Abigail Kent, Brandee Kent, Alec Mackie, Natalie Mackie and Aaron Mackie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Donald E. Jones. The funeral will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in the Twin Lakes Chapel. The committal service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
