Elizabeth Adams

Burlington Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Bright Adams, 61, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 30, 2015. She was born in Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Walter Marvin Bright and the late Margaret Elizabeth Lemons Bright. Libby was married for 16 years to her husband, James "Butch" Adams, who survives. She was a member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church and retired from AT&T. She is survived by her husband, Butch of the home; granddaughter, Charlotte Adams; brothers, Richard Bright and Joe Bright, both of Mebane and Danny Bright of SC; sisters, Brenda Allen and Nancy Ashley, both of Mebane and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Glenn and Jimmy Bright. The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Don Pegg with interment to follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:45-2:45 prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell and also request memorials be made there as well, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
