Elaine Enoch Tinnin

Elaine Enoch Tinnin, 71, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at her residence.  She was born on October 15, 1949 in Alamance County to the late Wesley Bruce Enoch and Rita Daye Enoch.

Elaine retired after 17 years with American Hebrew Academy and formerly worked at Fortress Reinsurance Company.  She loved watching sports and movies and she enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Nichole Tinnin Gray and husband, George; grandsons, Ryan Miles and Branden Gray; great granddaughter, Malia Dohna; a sister, Rita Enoch; a brother, Billy Enoch and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Brenda Enoch, John Enoch, Adolphus “Son” Enoch, Shirley Smith, Robert “Bob” Enoch, and James “Jack” Enoch.

The celebration of life service will be held at 11:30am Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service.  The service will be live streamed and the family request that everyone wear masks and observe the Covid restrictions.
