Elaine Bryan Rudd

Elaine Bryan Rudd, 69, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, June 24, 2022. She retired from the Alamance-Burlington School System where she devoted over 20 years to Pleasant Grove Elementary School. Elaine was a devout Christian and member of Warren’s Grove United Methodist Church. She loved her church and enjoyed music, especially singing. Her grandchildren called her “GG” and they were her world and she cherished every moment with them.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 36 years, Lynn Rudd; daughters, Suzanne Rice (Darrell Ireland) and Angel Rudd (James Cuddeback) and two granddaughters, Olivia Rice and Hannah Cuddeback, who were her world. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and Clyde Bryan.

A service to Celebrate her life will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ann Benson with the burial to follow at Long’s Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45pm on Wednesday prior to the service.
