Eileen Rindos

Burlington – Mrs. Eileen McCoy Rindos, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at The Oaks of Alamance.

Born in New York City, Manhattan, she was the daughter of the Edward Patrick McCoy and  Katherine Aselmini McCoy and was married for over 24 years to the late Stephen Joseph Rindos, who passed away in 2004. She was very involved in the ministries of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Along with her parents and husband, Eileen was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Mangels; a sister, Anne Romar; and step daughter, Paula Morse.

Mrs. Rindos is survived by her daughters: Helene Brue and husband, Geoff of Sarasota, Florida and Cathleen Rensing and husband, Bob of Burlington; son, Thomas E. Nesbitt and wife, Pat of California; step daughter: Catherine Giligan; step sons: Robert and Richard Rindos; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. Mrs. Rindos will be available for viewing from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 10 at the funeral home.
