Edwin Strouth

Greensboro - Edwin "Ed" Dennis Strouth, 78, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Fisher Park Health and Rehab surrounded by his family. He was born on September 21, 1940 in Bristol, TN to the late Henry Edward Strouth and Bessie Kathleen "Pat" Shaffer Strouth, and was the husband to Donna Terry Strouth of 33 years who survives.

Ed was a former employee with White Plumbing and Heating Company. He attended Jubilee Holiness Church and was a US Army veteran.

Survivors other than his wife, Donna Strouth include his children, Cathie Ann Stedron and husband, Chuck, Edwin Dennis Strouth, Jr. and wife, Karen and Carl Henry "C.H." Strouth; step-children, Betty Miller, Brenda Locklear and Benjamin Jeffries; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 17 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren; sisters, Judy Calland and Sherry White; a brother, Robert "Bobby Dale" Strouth. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Charlotte Ann Allison and a brother, Donald Lee Strouth.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, October 1, 2018 at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6pm at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home of Brenda Locklear in Greensboro.
