Edwin Kerr

Burlington Edwin Clinton Kerr, 72, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Hospice Home. He was the son of the late Ralph Eugene and Viola Forbis Kerr. He was a member of Gibsonville Church of God and was a friend to everyone he met. He is survived by his brother, Ralph Kerr, Jr. of Gibsonville; a sister, Wanda Kerr, also of Gibsonville; nephews, Kenneth Kerr and wife Patty, Michael Kerr and wife Jennifer and Gene Kerr and wife Anna; nieces, Cynthia Kerr and husband David and Belinda Mondie. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be held 3:00pm, Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Gibsonville Church of God by Rev. Betsy Combs with the burial to follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
