Edward "Eddie" Clapp

Alamance – Edward “Eddie” William Clapp, 56 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2020 at ARMC surrounded by his family and friends. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late Jimmy Arton Clapp and Carolyn Whitaker Clapp who survives.

Eddie was employed for many years in the restaurant business. He graduated from Walter Williams High School in 1982 and attended UNCG for several years. He was a talented cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Whitaker Clapp of Burlington; numerous cousins and a longtime friend, Chris Miles of Alamance.

A private family service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 11:00am at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Josh House and Rev. Mike Stephens.
