Edward McDaniel

Elon-Edward Conway, McDaniel,90, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Hospice Home. He was the son of the late William Hedley and Emma Crowder McDaniel.
Edward retired from Mike Younger Construction Company and previously served as an Evangelist. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was the husband of the late May Catherine Dove McDaniel. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn M. Starling of Burlington and a son, Harold J. McDaniel of Virginia; three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Pruitt and husband Buster, Nanny and her husband, Luther, Mildred Durham and Jane McDaniel; brother, Raleigh H. McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister, Ruby Lee Keatts and a brother, William A. McDaniel.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 2:00PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bryan Rainbow. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 pm prior to the services and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
