Gibsonville Edna Vivian Jarrett Stallings, age 93, of 410 S. Joyner St. passed away Tuesday December 13, 2005 at Burlington Manor. A native of Randolph County, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Connie Beatrice Frazier Jarrett. She was retired after 40 years from Cone Mills and was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Gibsonville Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by 2 daughters, Ms. Louise S. Gulley and Mrs. Letha S Lee and husband Bill all of Gibsonville; sons, John C. Stallings of the home and James J. Stallings and wife Betty of Burlington; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kenneth Wayne Stallings; sisters, Mary Sutton, Iola Younger and Margaret Pierre; brothers, John Wesley Jarrett, Richard Jarrett, Leo Jarrett and Therion Jarrett. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday December 16, 2005 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mark Mofield. Interment will follow in the Gibsonville City Cemetery. Mrs. Stallings will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6-8 PM and at other times at the residence.
