Edna Lee Simmons Faison, 95, passed away December 4, 2018 at White Oak Manor.
A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of the late Berry W and Bertha Minor Simmons and wife of the late Kenneth Faison.
She was retired from McEwen Hosiery Mill, a seamstress, an avid gardener and a member of Beverly Hills United Church of Christ
Survivors include her daughter, Angelia Jean Faison of Burlington; sisters, Lottie Tate and Verdie Rice both of Burlington and Mona Busick of Browns Summitt; brothers,
Brodie Simmons and wife Irene, Ervin Simmons and wife Didama; sister in law Wanda Simmons all of Elon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, William W. Simmons, Robert W. Simmons and Elbridge Simmons, and sister, Hattie S. Smith
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jim Owen. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Faison will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 10:45am, prior to the funeral service.
