Edgar Reeves

Edgar Louis Reeves, 83, of 815 Plaid St., died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at his home after two months of declining health. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Edward Reeves and the late Birttie Kiser Reeves and was married to Edna Baldwin Reeves, who died on November 29, 2005. He retired from Copland Fabrics and was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Linda Patterson and her husband, Tom, of the home, Mrs. Brenda Taylor and her husband, Jerry, of Graham, and Mrs. Vickie Corbett of Spring Hope, NC; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a sister, Gladys Smith. A cryptside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Powell Sykes. The family will receive friends from 10 - 10:45 prior to the service at the mausoleum chapel and other times at the home. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Reeves family.
