Earlie Clapp

Burlington Earlie Mae Fogleman Clapp, 93, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at White Oak Manor after 18 months of failing health. She was born in Guilford County to the late Early Lewis Fogleman and the late Norvie Leah Huffman Fogleman. Earlie was a homemaker. Survivors include her sisters, Nancy Brown, Ruth Straughn and husband, Lynnwood and Ola Overman all of Burlington and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Lee Clapp; sisters, Lucy Moore, Alta Faye Loy and Eunice Simpson. The graveside service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Low's Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9pm Friday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at her sister, Nancy Brown's home.
