Dwight Norris

Mr. Dwight David Norris, 52, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 11, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Norris was born April 8, 1956 in Alamance County to the late David Curtis Norris and Doris Sandy Norris who survives. Dwight was a member of Christian Bible Fellowship, a member of the National Rifle Association and was in the heating and air conditioning business. Dwight was a humorous and funny jokester who loved to see people laugh and he was also a loving son and brother. Survivors include his mother, Doris Norris of Burlington; two sisters, Linda Norris Witherow and her husband Tim, and Sharon Norris Esquivel all of Burlington; nieces Laurin Underwood and her husband James, and Rebekah Withrew; and a great niece Madison Underwood. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bruce Readling. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times the family will be at the home of his mother, 2631 Saunders Rd. Burlington.
