Douglas Richardson

Douglas "Doug" Paul Richardson, 45, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. Mr. Richardson was born July 2, 1964 in Syracuse, New York to John Charles and Nancy Joslyn Richardson who survive. Doug worked for more than 20 years for Tri Printers in Chapel Hill. He was a Skaneateles volunteer fire fighter in Skaneateles New York before moving to Chapel Hill. Survivors include his parents of Burlington; sisters, Kathryn "Katie" Moravec and her husband Dan of Graham, and Abby Versace and her husband Craig of Durham; two nieces, Meagan Moravec and Alaina Versace; two nephews, Connor Moravec and Joey Versace. A celebration of Douglas life will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Foley Chapel at Twin Lakes by the Rev. Craven Ford. The family will receive friends following the service at other times the family will be at his parents home 3840 Wesley Ct. in Burlington.
