Dorothy Hundley Overbey Paschal

Dorothy “Dot” Hundley Overbey Paschal, 99, of Burlington, is now celebrating life with Jesus in heaven.  Dot passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022.  She inspired in her children to put God first, and to love and support family.  She was blessed to continue to drive at 98 and live a joyful and active life.  She was a faithful member of church.  It was her desire that her neighbors know she was there for them.  She was loved and will be truly missed by family and friends.  Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Tony Morgan Hundley and Jetti Shoemaker Hundley; first husband, William Linwood Overbey; second husband, Hoston Paschal; brothers, Clarence Hundley, William Hundley, and Hoyle Hundley; and sisters, Louise Eastwood and Romaner Eastwood.

Dot is survived by her children, Carol Estes and husband J.T., Glenda Porter, and Diana Whitaker; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jack Hundley.

A service to celebrate Dot’s life will be held Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 3 PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Hundley officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2 – 2:45 PM prior to the service.  Interment will be private at Alamance Memorial Park.
