Dorothy Catherine Ingold Isley, 83, of 4664 Friendship-Rock Creek Rd. passed away Monday, November 5, 2007 at Alamance Health Care. She was the wife of William Milton Isley and the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillie Cobb Ingold. Dorothy was a native of Alamance County and worked for Kayser Roth for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, formerly of the Womens Morning Circle and taught Sunday school for many years. Survivors include her husband of the home, a sister Mattie I. Greeson of Burlington, brothers; Virgil Ingold of White Cross, William Clyde Ingold of Burlington, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Edna I. Bouldin and a brother Edro Ingold. The funeral will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church by Rev. Nathan Hooks, interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 2719 Bellemont Alamance Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
