Dorothy Huskey

Mrs. Dorothy Gayle Luna Huskey, age 66, of Burlington, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital after an illness of several weeks. Born in Bartow, FL, she was the daughter of the late Audubon Lee Jack Luna and the late Dorothy Jean Davis Luna and was married to the late Raymond Clovis Huskey, who passed in 2003. She was a career homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Huskey is survived by her three daughters, Sheryl Porter and husband, Ricky, of Pelham, NC, Carol Huskey and Tarah Huskey-Moore, both of Burlington; her son, Ray Huskey of Burlington; five grandchildren, Nicki Porter, Kaelyn Overman, Alicia Toney, Taylor Huskey and Damon Huskey; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn Fuller, Susie Turner, Tammy Thompson and Janice Arnold, all of FL; three brothers, James Finley and Ernie Finley of AR and Larry Luna of FL; a step mother, Sarah Toni Luna of FL; and her beloved pet, Puddin. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, February 5, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
