Dorothy Hall

Burlington, NC Dorothy Dot Brown Hall, age 84, formerly of Garfield Road went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Stokes County and the wife of the late Earlie M. Hall. Dot worked for many years with Burlington Industries and recently retired in August 2006 after 23 years with Lab Corp. She was a life long member of Brookwood Baptist Church and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Hall Marshall of Chapel Hill; son, Dwight Craig Hall of Gallatin, Tennessee; grandsons, Jason Amy Snyder Marshall, Jonathon Marshall and Adam Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Harry T. and Kate Joyce Brown; three sisters and one brother. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Brookwood Baptist Church Chapel by Rev. Garry Gates and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
