Dora Garner

Dora Lee Greeson Garner, age 97 passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late William Thomas Garner. Dora was a longtime member of St. Mark's Church and a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her son Karl Raymond Garner and wife, Mindy of Summerville, SC; daughters, Patricia Garner Bennett of Summerville, SC, Vicki Garner Campbell and husband, Senator Paul G. Campbell of Goose Creek, SC; ten grandchildren Anthony Garner and wife, Teresa, Derek Garner, Benjamin Garner, Karly Garner, Michael Carter, Jason Carter and wife, Lisa, Matthew Carter, Christie Snipes, Jeremy Campbell and wife, Shireen, Caroline Campbell Burgreen and husband, Alan; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents Charles Elmer Greeson and Bess Reese Greeson; brothers Bill Greeson, Charles Greeson, Jr. and Clarence Greeson; sisters Maggie Hammond, Ruth Hinton and Virginia Evans. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Alamance Memorial Park by the Reverend Ben Bishop. The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:45 pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
