Donna Kimrey Sharpe

Donna was born May 16,1939, the only child of Hazel “Peggy” and John Raymond “Bill” Kimrey of Snow Camp, NC.

She loved her family and enjoyed collecting all kinds of dolls. She retired after 30 years of service from Ametek and often recalled friends and memories of the days at work.

Donna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ronald Sharpe, Sr. of 58 years.

Donna was survived by her daughters, Patrica Jo McAdams and her husband Phil of Greensboro, Julia S. Collins and her husband Mike also of Greensboro and son, Jerry Ronald (Ron) Sharpe, Jr. and his wife Karen of Burlington. She was a very proud grandmother of 6 to Chad MacKenzie and his wife Melanie, Jenna Beth MacKenzie and her wife Amy, Meredith McAdams, Michael McAdams, Mallory Sharpe and Grant Sharpe. She also has 2 great grandchildren, Hudson and Holton MacKenzie who she adored.

A celebration of life will be held at the home of Ron and Karen, 3201 Oakbury Rd, Burlington from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, December 16^th.
