Donna Scott

Donna Jean Laws Scott, 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and went home to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Greenville, SC to the late Burl Allen Laws and the late Evelyn Louise Heavener Laws and was the wife of 43 years to Ronald "Ronnie" Scott who survives. Donna attended New Hope Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors other than her husband Ronnie of the home include her daughters and son-in-law, Tonya Scott Hamlett of Burlington, Sandi and Chris Thompson of Graham; grandchildren, Nicholas Thompson, Scottie Thompson, Grant Thompson and London Hamlett; sisters, Dee Buxton of Greensboro and Doris Gardner of Summerfield; brothers, Jerry Heavener of Gastonia, NC, Arnold Laws of Stoney Creek, Robert Keith Laws of Graham and Kenneth Paul Laws of Burlington. The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Randy Hobbs with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
