Burlington – Donna Glomski Haith, 82, passed away on November 29, 2021 at Alamance Heath Care. A native of Alpena Michigan, she was the daughter of the late John and Emily Glomski and was married to James Haith who passed in 2009.
Donna worked 25 years at Monarch Hosiery Mill in Altamahaw then later retired from Lab Corp in Specimen Management. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where she was a Teresian and a member of the Quilters. She enjoyed quilting in her spare time as well as reading and traveling. Donna was known for her contagious laugh and her ability to make others laugh, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Mona Haith; grandchildren, Penetta (Nikki) and John; brothers, Jim Glomski and Norman Glomski. Nieces and nephews include; Michelle, Michael, Phillip, Skip, Todd, Jimmy, Eric, Amber, Erin, Vickie, Cynthia, Scott, Lisa Kay, David (Buster), Linda, Stephen, Brock, Wendy and Michelle.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, brothers; Patrick and Kenneth, a niece Kristie and a nephew Scott.
A mass will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Graham at 9:00 in the morning. The family will receive friends from 4-6PM on Friday at Lowe Funeral Home. The family is requesting that anyone in attendance to wear a mask and practice Covid protocols.
