Donna Buddington

Summerville, SC-Donna Marie Rowan Buddington, 67, formerly of Burlington passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Trident Medical Center. She was a native of Garrett County, Maryland and the daughter of the late William Edward and Maxine Elizabeth Iman Rowen,
Donna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother,great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed her life and was proud of getting her driver's license after her husband died in 2010.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Shenewolf and husband, Kevin of Summerville, SC, Sharon Buddington and husband, Tim Collie of Greensboro and Karen collie and husband, Bill Lamm of Elon; son, Glen G. Buddington, Jr. of Burlington; grandchildren, Katie (Chris) Fender, Ashley Townsend, Nicholas Townsend, Daisy Buddington, Nathan Collie, Brianna Townsend, Hailey Collie, Jospeh Demas, Glen Buddington III, Duke Collie, Jason Demas and Kelly Robinson; great grandchildren, McKenzie Fender, Cheyanne Nettleton, Macie Fender and Leah Fender; sisters, Sharon Dawson of Baltimore, MD, Claudia Novack of Charlotte and Patricia Martin of Colonial Beach, VA; brothers, Richard Townsend of Graham and Billy Rowan of MD. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Gean Buddington, Sr. and a brother, Ronnie Rowan.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00am at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy Marley. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
