Donald Wheeler

Mr. Donald Forrest Wheeler, age 84, of Springwood Ave., passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his home after several weeks of failing health. Mr. Wheeler was born in Rockingham County to the late Dan Wheeler and the late Ilean Heffner Wheeler and was married to Mrs. Lois Ann Nickles Wheeler, who survives. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a former employee of Hobart Sales and Service and of the Baptist faith. Donald is survived by his wife of the home and a step son, Russell Sizemore of Gibsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Howard Wheeler. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 1:45 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
