Donald Slaughter

Donald Eugene Slaughter, 50, of 2217 Dorsett St. passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mr. Slaughter was born September 13, 1959 in Alamance County to the late William Slaughter, Sr. and Marie Kennedy Slaughter who survives. Donald worked for the city of Mebane in the recreation department and he was a member of Alamance Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Martha E. Sink; a son, Daniel Slaughter; and a daughter, Lizzie Slaughter all of the home; his mother, Marie K. Slaughter, of Alamance; three brothers, William Slaughter, Jr., Johnny Slaughter, James Slaughter; and two sisters, Becky Whitesell and Judy Albright. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Alamance Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Lockley. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
