Donald Flynn

Mr. Donald Edwin Flynn, age 81, of Elon, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Frank Edward Flynn and the late Florine Stephenson Flynn and was married for 45 years to Jacqueline Flynn, who survives. Donald was an avid golfer and for many years headed up the Challenge and Quarry Hills Seniors Traveling Golf Group. Mr. Flynn is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mary Anne Scalera and her husband, Dean, of Boca Raton, FL, Peggy Anderson and her husband, David, of Wakefield, RI and Judi Ann Schuler of Graham; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Stephen Flynn. The family will conduct a private memorial service in New York at a later date.
