Donald Allred

Donald R. Allred, 75, of 728 Dick St. died Monday, February 25, 2008. A native of Guilford County he was the son of the late Theodore Allred and Annie Ridenhour Allred and the husband of Margaret Kellis Allred. A US Navy veteran he retired from AT&T and spent most of his days playing golf. He was a member of Gibsonville United Methodist Church and a member of the Gibsonville Lions Club. He is survived by his wife Margaret Kellis Allred of the home; son, Kelly Allred and his wife Lisa of Burlington; grandchildren, Hunter Allred and Jordan Allred; sister Muriel Allred Cook of Gibsonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Bertha A. Ryan; brothers, Claude, Paul and Bill Allred. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Gibsonville United Methodist Church by Rev. David Greene. Burial will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family would like to thank all the RA's at Clara Bridge for the great loving care provided to our loved one.
