Don Lesh

Burlington, NC Don E. Lesh, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Hospice Home with his wife of 63 years by his side. He was the husband of Joyce Alice Ehrlich Lesh who survives. Don was retired insurance agent with Nationwide Insurance after 45 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Durham. Don served for several years in the US naval reserve. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Alice Ehrlich Lesh of the home; son, Rick Lesh and his wife, Nancy of Burlington; daughters, Kellie Benge and her husband, Jerry of Keiv, Ukraine and Kathy Slabaugh and her husband, Pastor Stan Slabaugh of Columbus, Ohio; Nine Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Harvey B. and Polly Lesh of Harpswell, Maine; brother-in-law, Dick Ramsey of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is preceded in death by Harvey Benjamin Lesh, Sr.and Estella Hartong Lesh and a sister, Virginia Ramsey. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Durham located at 414 Cleveland Street. A private burial will be held on Monday, November 11, 2012 at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
