Dolores Yates

Burlington- Dolores Allison Yates, 76, of 1327 Pollard Ave passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Yates was born January 18, 1932 in Charlotte, N.C. to the late Robert Earl and Hazel Rivenbark Allison. Dolores was a retired owner of a restaurant and was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include three daughters, Susan Walker of Burlington, Michele Bougneit of Elon, and Angela Ziehl of Youngsville, NC; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Helton of Florida, and Janice Owings of Advance. Mrs. Yates was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Darrell Yates and a son, Jack Deese, Jr. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at New Life Fellowship by the Rev. Don Overman.
