Dixie Faulkner

Burlington-Dixie Rich Faulkner, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2019.  She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Baxter Odell Faulkner. She was the daughter of the late Mutt Joseph and Helen Dare Rich.

Dixie retired from Carolina Hosiery after over 20 years. She was an auctioneer with Hwy 49 Auction House. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters, Shellvia Dawn Johnson and husband, Dennis of Burlington and Amanda Squires of Greensboro; grandchildren, Cole Puckett and Tiffany Johnson; great grandchildren, Tyson Johnson and Alaysie Johnson; sister, Kay Paul of New Bern, NC and a brother, Hans Rich and wife, Thelma of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; son, Matthew Kirk Puckett and daughter, Brenda Smith.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11:00AM at Long’s Chapel United Church of Christ Cemetery.
