Dianne Conner

Dianne Shelton Ray Conner, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Halifax, VA. Dianne was a former employee with the Alamance County Register of Deeds. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was the Praise and Worship Team's manager. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronald Felton "Ronnie" Conner, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Angela Conner, Jr., Rodney and Daina Conner, Sr.; grandchildren, Trey Conner, Kathryn Vazquez and husband, Jose, Jacob Conner, Dakota Hunt, Rodney Conner, Jr. and wife, Devon, Rebekah Hunt and Wesley Conner; great grandchildren, Preston Conner, Karleigh Vazquez, Alexah Hunt, Brandon and Nathaniel; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Evelyn Ray, Kent and Dale Sadler and a sister, Gina Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit Lucaus Ray and Margaret Hazel Gravitt Ray and several brothers. The celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church by Pastor Ernest Beck. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45pm at the church prior to the service and other times at the son, Ronald's home.
