Dennis Smith

Dennis Ray Smith, age 64, of NC Hwy 49, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health. Born in Guilford County, he was the son of the late Jeter Clifton Smith and the late Gladys Chriscoe Smith. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Burlington. Dennis is survived by two sisters, Janice Fernando Davila and Judy Lynne Smith all of Burlington; a niece, Alicia Hensley; four nephews, Michael Guthrie, Brett Guthrie, Jonathan Guthrie and Rhett Vernon; a special great niece, Jessica Hensley; and several other great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Chapel of The First Baptist Church of Burlington by Dr. Terry E. Peele.
