Delores Perry

On July 9, 2010, Delores Turner "Granny Dee" Perry passed away on Friday morning after a six month battle with cancer and kidney failure. Delores left us and joined her recently deceased mom and dad, Rosie and Pat whom she truly loved and missed. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Charles Edward Perry and the daughter of the late Julius Clay and Elsie Shambley Turner. For twenty years, she and Charles operated a food concession business, traveling over central and eastern United States. She attended Integrity Community Church and was a member of Washington Presbyterian Church in Washington, GA. Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward Perry of the home; son, Charles C. "Chad" Perry and wife Robin of Graham. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday July 12, 2010 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Terry Knighten. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mrs. Perry will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 3-5pm Sunday and at other times at the residence, 2010 Bracyridge Rd., Greensboro.
