Delores Fleming

Mrs. Delores Young Fleming, 79, of 2524 Orice St, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February, 16, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Fleming was born August 29, 1927 in Alamance County to the late William and Lelia Young. Mrs. Fleming was the former owner and operator of Fleming Daycare where she loved and cared for children. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Alamance. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Fletcher Fleming of the home; one son, Dillard Neil Fleming and his wife Rhonda of Lansdale, Pa; two grandchildren, Stephen Neil Fleming and Katherine Amanda Fleming of Lansdale, Pa; two sisters, Nellie Hamm and Helen Wrenn both of Burlington. Mrs. Fleming was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Craig Fleming; three sisters, Edna Stanley, Mildred Young, and Louise Wrenn; three brothers, William Saunders Young, Sherman Young, and Elmer Young. Funeral Services will held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February, 20, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Daniel Gregory and Evangelist Danny Hamm. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
