Delmar Kanupps

Delmar Bobby Kanupps, 77, of 731 Windsor St. passed away Friday November 13, 2009 at the Hospice Home following three months of declining health. He was the husband of the late Nettie Truitt Kanupps and was born May 17, 1932 in Alamance County to the late Lee Alexander and Grace Williams Kanupps. Delmar was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include a daughter Vickie Brincefield and her husband Frank of Burlington, sons; Larry B. Kanupps and his wife Tammy of Burlington, Ronnie R. Kanupps and his wife Bernice of Burlington, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers; Russell Lee Kanupps and Roy Kanupps. The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Olin Tatum the interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 4-6 P.M. Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215. The family would like to say a special thanks to Phoebe, Crystal, Paul, Mitchell and all the nurses of Hospice.
