Debra "Debbie" Catlett

Debbie Catlett, 66, of Burlington, passed away at her home on Monday, November 30, 2020.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Roger Earl Morton and Kathryn “Katie” Robertson Morton who survives. She was also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John W. Robertson, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Morton.

She was employed with Bright Horizons Daycare/Cone Health Family Enrichment Center. She touched the lives of many of her students and was thought of highly by all who knew her.  She enjoyed listening to gospel music and loved the mountains and beach.

Survivors include her mother, Kathryn Robertson Morton of Graham; son, Herbert “Chucky” Catlett and wife Judy of Whitsett, daughter, Katelyn Catlett of Graham; sister Patty Wall and husband Steve of Graham, grandchildren DJ Catlett and his wife Ashleigh, Angel Catlett Durham; great grandchildren, Ayden, Abel, Kayleigh and Adelyn.  She was preceded in death by her father, and brother Robin Morton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, December 4, 2020 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Bryan Rainbow and Pastor Howard Thompson.  Public viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 1:45pm, prior to the funeral service.  A private graveside service will be at Alamance Memorial Park.
