Debra Moore

Debra Lackey Moore, age 58, of Burlington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at her home after a sudden illness. Born on September 9, 1957, in Winston-Salem, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Lile Lackey and Delores Starrett Lackey, who survives. Mrs. Moore is survived by her children, Shannon Purkiss and her husband, Evan, and Britt Maxwell and his wife, Angela, all of Covington, KY and Brandon Maxwell and his wife, Melissa, of Burlington; four grandchildren, Nick, Alex, Michael and Maya; her mother, Delores of Burlington; a sister, Phyllis Wilkins of Burlington; and a brother, Scott Lackey of Burlington. She is now at peace in Heaven looking over us with her late father, John Paw Paw Lackey. The memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Wood. The family will receive friends following the service.
